ittle Wolferl always had music popping into his head . . .

It had to come out!

When he was four, his father gave him piano lessons.
Wolferl loved to play the piano.

He was amazing, it seemed as soon as he heard a musical tune, he could play it right back. His father also gave him special ruled sheets, called music paper, to write down the music playing in his head.

He could write notes before he could write words!

When he was only five years old, he wrote a wonderful piano solo, called a minuet , that sounded like this:

MIDI

File: MINUET5.MID
Size: 3.2 KBytes
Playing Time: 39 seconds

MPEG

File: MINUET5.MP2
Size: 152 KBytes
Playing Time: 39 seconds

Pretty good for a five year old, don't ya think?
